Guyette

Hey there, I am Guy. (short for Guyette) My owner is Tom, A.K.A TQB. They think I’m about 2 ½ years old, but we’re not sure. Tommy’s brother use to be my owner, he was the original one to buy me. But after about a year or so, he became a volunteer firer-fighter, and became busy. Tommy had started to feel sorry for me after seeing that I was being fed commercial food, and since TQB’s brother wasn’t home much, I had dirty water. Tommy came in my room daily and talked to me, and gave me fresh food and water, but he didn’t really know how to take care of an iguana. Then a few months later, Tom’s brother came in and asked me if I wanted Guy. Tom said yes, and so I moved in with Tommy. Tommy did a lot of research on iguanas for me. He found out that I was a girl and not a boy, my original name was Guy, and then renamed to Guyette. TQB quickly stopped feeding me the commercial food and fed me real stuff. Then Tom found www.greenigsociety.com a lot of people there on the message board helped him take care of me. Then about a month ago, we got Iguana’s for dummies, Tommy has really enjoyed this book, it helps him a lot with me. I love Tommy very much, heck at that I love people very much, I am a friendly iguana and I love attention.

The only problem we have is that my cage is to small. Tommy knows about this, but his parents say that iguana’s grow as big as you let them, so they wont get me a bigger cage. They said  though that if I get to big for this cage (which I am) (my growth was stunned from not having UVB light, and proper food) that they will help me get a new cage. J
